MuramasaThe Berserker Build relies on its insane attacking speed plus the fact that the Muramasa swings like a pickaxe: Just hold the mouse button and it'll go slashing. This is one of the very first sets that becomes available to a player in Terraria. Shadow Armor is fairly easy to get and only the Muramasa poses a significant challenge to acquire.

The build already has max attack speed, but the average defense values of the shadow armor needs a bit of help through Obsidian Skulls and/or Bands of Regen. Also, since you'd need to get to slashing range the Cobalt Shield will protect you from knockbacks.
Building the Set
The Shadow Armor set is one of the easier sets to build- I got it right after crafting the Silver Armor. You just have to kill the Eater of Worlds once, which will drop a piece after dying plus a bunch of Demonite Ores and Shadow Scales. Smelt the Demonite Ores into Bars, then combine with Shadow Scales to craft the remaining pieces.
The Feral Claws can be founf in the underground Jungle- find your world's jungle aboveground, then dig straight down. You'll begin seeing "Shrines" made of Bricks with a single chest inside. On one of those chests is the Feral Claw.
Obtaining the Muramasa is going to be chore: Step one is to defeat Skeletron. Then explore the dungeon, one of the chests within is going to contain the sword. OR you can do this:
The remaining accessories are fairly easy to obtain, and mixing and matching them would be up to the individual player. The Cobalt Shield and the Bands of Regen can be found in Dungeon Chests, while the Obsidian Skulls needs 20x Obsidian pieces each.
Using the Build
Using the Berserker Build vs. the environment is overkill. Blood Moons and Goblin Armies will be annihilated by this build, and the underground, dungeon, jungle and even corruption creeps is no match against it. Hell creeps will prove more resilient, but once you get close and personal they'll die too.
Against boss monsters on the other hand is another matter. Both the Eye of Cthulu and Eater of Worlds can be killed easier with a ranged weapon, and there are better builds for fighting with ranged weapons. The Skeletron is doable, but you'd need stacks of potions since you're at sword range and will be constantly taking hits.
But this build shines the most on PvP. With a proper strategy to compensate for your lack of mobility, its easy to chop players with this build's insane attack speed. You can modify the accessories for a bit of mobility with Rocket Boots or Anklet of the Wind while sacrificing defense, just make sure that the Feral Claws and maybe even the Cobalt Shield remain equipped.
I guess that's it for the Berserker Build~ Until next time guys, peace out ^^
